    Responsibilities

    Maintain systems and databases by ensuring departmental procedures are followed; review the accuracy and integrity of static and time series data for assigned portfolios, benchmarks, and other information.
    Lead and represent performance team on strategic initiatives designed to provide robust, sustainable solutions. Actively participate in special projects and support / implement process improvements / efficiency.
    Expert knowledge of performance attribution and characteristics and benchmark composition.
    Assist in the construction and maintenance of composites in compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) for assigned portfolios/strategies. Assist in compiling data and documentation for the annual firm-wide verification of compliance with GIPS. Understand GIPS implications relative to role.
    Prepare, interpret and investigate anomalies in portfolio performance, peer ranking, attribution / contribution results used in the analysis.
    Manage/build relationships with various groups including Global Performance & Risk teams, Investment Management teams, Client teams, Sales & Marketing teams and external vendors.
    Partner with the firm's support office in India, work closely to ensure Supporting and Enhancing Performance team’s capabilities.

    Requirements:

    Degree holder in the relevant discipline, further study towards industry qualification is an advantage.
    Minimum 5 years of performance analysis experience in asset management industry.
    Solid knowledge of performance measurement and related rules and regulations, as well as related compliance procedures within the investment management industry.
    Proficient in the use of third-party financial industry databases/performance/risk measurement systems, Microsoft Office, Excel and VBA programs; knowledge in Eagle Pace an advantage.
    Analytical, with a high degree of numerical and quantitative competency and accuracy.
    Strong understanding of retail and/or institutional fund product lines and related skill sets.
    Team player.
    Able to work under pressure, establish priorities and meet deadlines, and attentive to details.
    Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to respond to client requests in a timely manner and to interactive with both internal and external clients.
    Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
