    Responsibilities

    Lead and coach the Training & Development (T&D) team members, optimize team structure, resources allocation and work processes.
    Partner with the human resources, business teams and functional heads to build and deploy learning solutions and staff development plans to meet training and development needs of different offices.
    Lead the development, customization and sourcing of content for capability development programs, and deliver such programs where appropriate/ possible.
    Develop communications strategies to foster the firm’s T&D culture as well as its T&D initiatives.
    Plan, forecast and manage T&D budget and ensure its effective utilization.
    Lead the development, analysis, interpretation and reporting of effectiveness and quality measures across all training and staff development programs to senior management from time to time.
    Keep up with the latest developments of T&D trends, technology and techniques to seek for continuous improvement and enhancement of existing learning approaches, programs and processes.
    Manage relationship with learning service providers and to negotiate and evaluate SLAs and contracts as necessary.


    Requirements

    Degree holder in the relevant discipline.
    Proven track record of talent and leadership development experience in positions of increasing responsibility with at least 4 years in leadership role; experience gained from financial institutions or investment banks preferred.
    Solid experience working in a full-fledged and multi-location financial platform, for designing and implementing learning and development strategies, systems, and programs.
    Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with different functions and all levels including senior management of the firm, thereby building trust, credibility and influence for the training function.
    Comprehensive knowledge and proven application of learning & leadership development programs and methodologies to drive business results.
    Results-oriented team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively to targeted audiences in a variety of settings.
    Solid knowledge of training-related technologies, applications and programs.
    Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is a must.
